The Flag Lady’s Flag Store was a business founded by Mary Leavitt during the Iranian Crisis. Mary started selling the U.S. Flag out of the trunk of her car because a local flag dealer told her “You can’t get a flag…it’s not flag season.” Her son was off of the coast of Iran in the Navy at the time and she would not take no for an answer. She sold the American Flag right out of the trunk of her car. Now the business is 30 years old and Mary and The Flag Lady’s Flag Store have been featured in many news outlets like the Chicago Sun Times who nicknamed her “The Flag Lady.”
The Business has grown into a very successful business, the American flag is the backbone of our company and always will be, but over the past 30 years we have grown to make custom flags, and we even provide the Ohio State Buckeye Football program with all of their flags. Most importantly around 90% of our products are made in the USA! We work with the oldest manufacturer in the United States for our American Flags and many other products.
